RAFA 2009 — Welcome

On behalf of the Institute of Chemical Technology, Prague (ICT Prague, Czech Republic), RIKILT – Institute of Food Safety (Wageningen, the Netherlands) and International Association of Environmental Analytical Chemistry (IAEAC, Allschwil, Switzerland), we would like to invite all food researchers and representatives of national and international agencies, control bodies, governmental and commercial laboratories and industry to attend the 4th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Food Analysis (RAFA 2009).

In line with previous events, the RAFA 2009 will focus on RECENT ADVANCED ANALYTICAL & BIOANALYTICAL TECHNOLOGIES AND EMERGING FOOD-RELATED APPLICATIONS in following areas:

  • Residues and contaminants,
  • Authenticity, traceability, fraud,
  • Flavours and odours,
  • Processing and packaging contaminants,
  • Mycotoxins, marine and plant toxins,
  • Allergens,
  • Genetically modified organisms (GMO´s),
  • Nanoparticles,
  • Novel foods, nutritional supplements, organic food,
  • QA/QC and chemometrics in food analysis.

The organizers of the 4th International Symposium on Recent Advances in Food Analysis promise to prepare a balanced programme including oral presentations by young scientists, IAEAC Student Travel Grants and the IAEAC Roland W. Frei award for the best poster presentation by a young researcher.

In addition to high grade presentations followed by stimulating discussions, several adjacent events, state-of-art art exhibition will be organized within the program. We will also do our best to offer you an attractive social program.
